The one thing that most people don't know about curvy women's bodies is that they mostly come in 2 shapes. Now don't get me wrong women's bodies come in countless beautiful shapes and sizes. Although there are endless variations of measurements, shapes and weight distributions, for the most part there are a handful of basic shapes for ladies. The power of boiling down your shape into the most basic building block is that you will be able to easily remember what works for you when you're facing shopping temptation.
In September 2017 Soror Style hosted an anonymous survey of 141 Sorority women, most of which self-identified as Curvy women. Like the research nerd I am, I combed through the data and looked for correlations. I went all loosey goosey and didn't put things through a rigorous data analysis but I did find out some very interesting data. Let me share my findings with you. I even created an infographic!
Curvy women come in a variety of shapes and sizes. Women that self-identify as curvy may be plus size, “straight size,” or even a combination of the two, with a different sized top and bottom.
